Sydney: Howdy pokes! Welcome back to “This Month at OSU.”  I'm your host Syndey Jones and it's November, homestretch of the semester, got all of November and then December and finals week. So here's some academic reminders, the library will start 24 hour service December 3, they’ll open at their normal hours at 9 AM and then they will not be closing until December 15th at 8 PM and then it's also November 10th is the W drop deadline. It's better than an F, so if you're really struggling in that class go ahead and take that W. It's a loss but it'll be a W. And then finals weeks so go ahead and check online and you can find your classes and what time those finals are, don't miss your finals are super important. That's basically it for academics, but study hard, keep you going!

Aubree: Hi guys! Welcome back this is a sports review with Aubrey Godwin. I'm here today to first talk about football and how we won homecoming and how amazing that was and I just wanted to remind y’all that bedlam is this weekend at 2:30 PM here at Boone Pickens Stadium to be there and cheer hard. Another thing to touch on is the girls soccer team. I would like to congratulate them on their win against Oklahoma and winning bedlam this year and how they did just so good and how it came down to the final and it was just an amazing win. I also want to touch on their game November 4th or their final game in Round Rock, TX so send them some love and support from Oklahoma State here. Another good thing so we are just popping off here lately for our OSU athletics! The cross country team did amazing at the conference meet. I just want to touch on how the boys won the conference for the fourth time in a row and how amazing that is. The girls ended up second behind BYU by four points which is not a lot but they did good too and how we had a lot of runners who ended up 1st and in the top 10. They did good in that part and just how basketball started yesterday and the girls played Oklahoma Christian and they came out with a win and the boys start their season today against Oklahoma Baptist and it's here at Gallagher Iba Arena at 7 PM so if you can go and support them. Both the boys and girls have games on November 6th.

Brett: All right so my name is Brett. I'm gonna be doing a little bit of a homecoming review. As we all know football won last week, 45 to 13, against the Cincinnati Bearcats. Our deck winner for homecoming is Farmhouse and Zeta Tau Alpha. The sign winner for student organizations is the Butter Churning Club, and the sign winner for Reslife is University Commons. Our homecoming queen is MaKinley Kennedy and our homecoming king is Stephen Pulliam. Yeah that does it for homecoming. It was a great week, probably a lot of people got a lot of restless nights, so do you recovering this week and yeah that's about it.

Alberto: Hey guys this is Alberto, just got some general news and some cultural events for you this November which is Native American Heritage Month. Alright so for music, the Greenwood School of Music has 10 student concerts this month. Student tickets are 9 dollars, you can purchase online or at the door. OSU honor choir will perform November 8th at 7:30 PM at the McKnight Center. The OSU tuba and euphonium ensemble will be performing November 9th at 7:30 PM at the McKnight Center as well. And also November 9th our trumpet and flute ensembles will perform at Edmond Low at noon. There's also a lot of other performances at McKnight and Seridian center and you can see all of them on their website. So a reminder about Pete’s Pet Posse, you can see some of our therapy dogs at Edmon Low every Monday from 12 PM to 1 PM, Tuesday from 6 PM to 7 PM and Wednesday from 2 PM to 3PM. They are also in the student union from 2 PM to 3 PM and Colvin every Friday from 10 AM to 11 AM. So just some other general announcements, Tuesday, November 7th at the Edmon Low Library at four, Dr. Kathleen Crowther will be giving a talk about the long history of policing pregnant bodies including medical misconceptions from ancient Greece all the way to post row age. November 17th through the 19th the OSU theater will perform Macbeth at the Seridian Center, go watch the play, it’s really good, it’s life changing. There's a wreath making workshop Saturday, November 25th at 9 AM, in the greenhouse learning center, go make yourself a wreath for the following month festivities and that's about it.

Sydney: Shout out to our listeners from literally around the globe, we've got some listeners in Germany and everywhere. I hope you're enjoying it there, but you know I'm just saying go pokes! This is a go pokes nation! Alright, go pokes global!

Virginia (Ginny): Thank you for listening, this episode is our last “This Month at OSU” for the semester. Please support our new crew next semester. Have a great finals season.
