Ok what's your name?
Kate: my name is Kate.
Sydney: Hi Kate, I'm Sydney, what is your favorite thing about the Colvin?
Kate: My favorite thing about the Colvin well it's I feel like it's a good location on campus. Personally, I think because I live on Greek row and then last year I lived in like Morsani in
the dorm like the apartment dorms and it was like a pretty good walk.
Sydney: And then what would advice would you give to someone that's never been the Colvin before?
Kate: Not gonna lie it's kind of like ripping off a Band-Aid you have to go because I know it can be really scary get friends I always come with friends
Sydney: yeah same! how about that!
Sydney: All right what's your name?
Ollie: Ollie
Sydney: Hi Ollie, what is your favorite thing about the colvin?
Ollie: How many benches there are.
Syndey: yeah, there is a lot of benches, I work here, and I have to reset them all the time. So, what what advice would you give to someone that has never been to the Colvin before?
Ollie: come and get big

Cole: Cole Otis
Sydney: alright what is your favorite thing about the Colvin?
Skyler: it has a lot of different equipment to use. Probably social atmosphere too.
Cole: probably the benches. They are very nice.
Sydney: yeah and then what advice would you give to someone that's never been to the Colvin before?
Skyler: just be open and don't overthink because no one's actually paying attention to you just be yourself and have fun.
Cole: probably just force yourself to do it.
Sydney: yeah, thank you guys!
Both Skyler and Cole: Of course!
Sydney: alright what are your guys names?
Leland: Leland
Jack: Jack
Sydney: Alright guys, so what is your favorite thing about the colvin?
Leland: the gym
Sydney: yeah
Jack: the basketball courts
Sydney: awesome, and then what advice would you give to someone that's never been to the colvin before?
Jack: no nobody's judging you just do whatever you need to do.
Leland: you gotta come check it out I mean it's free so why not.
Sydney: hey what's your name.
Caitlin: Caitlin
Sydney: hi! Wait, what was the question I was supposed to ask?
Colvin Culture Crew in the background: {how long have you been working out} Sydney: how long you been working out at the colvin?
Caitlin: well I played a high school sports. I've been working out since like I started my high school sport so like since, like the summer. Like the end of my senior year.
Sydney: awesome and would did you hit today?
Caitlin: Chest and triceps
Sydney: and then what advice would you give to anyone that's never been to the colvin before?
Caitlin: just go it's not as scary as it sounds it's really fun and it blows off a lot of steam.
Sydney: Alright what's your name?
Derek: Derek Munson
Sydney: how long have you been working out?
Derek: probably like three years
Sydney: and then would you hit today?
Derek: chest and back
Sydney: awesome, so that's our second person to hit chest today. And then what advice would you give to someone that's never been to the Colvin before?
Derek: come in the morning or night so it's not too busy.
Sdney: yeah thank you. And what's your name?
Kylie: my name is Kylie
Sydney: hi, how long have you been working out?
Kylie: I've been working out off and on for several years but I'm just now starting to get back into it.
Syndey: awesome and then what is something that most people don't know about the Colvin.. like the Colvin fairy secret if you will or anything that you like do at the colvin that's like super cool and different?
Kylie: I don't do anything different. I just do cardio…because I'm not strong.
Syndey: and then what advice would you give to someone that's never been to the colvin before?
Kylie: not necessarily just for the colvin but the gym in general. It's better if you stay consistent instead of going off and on because then you don't want to come back.
Camryn: get a load of this guys! So when you when you do something for 21 days it becomes a habit so let's say that you aren't wanting to come to the Colvin and you're feeling unmotivated while I have a solution for you force yourself every
single day to go to the Colvin for 21 days and then by the time the 21 days is up you will go every single day and you'll be proud of yourself and you'll be stronger every single day.
Sydney: but it's OK to rest like if your body is telling you that you don't need to go listen to it sometimes. be like “oh maybe you're right I did not get a good night sleep maybe I should you know sleep a little longer just skip the gym today” but I'll trust go tomorrow. You have to do the trust part. Trust yourself, trust your body. make sure you get people to help you stay consistent like get you some gym buddies gym Bros anybody to like make sure you get up and at em’.
Brett: yeah more on that… just like listen to your body but also just push yourself push yourself in a in a smart sense. You know when you're working out and you're feeling that exertion there's a difference between pain and soreness and I think a lot of people can get those two things mixed up quite a bit so just keep pushing. Keep kind of making yourself come here if you have to. Eventually it'll become fun. You know the it's a huge change to make yourself. If you've ever never worked out before or you're just kind of off and on about it but once you get into it. Once you get consistent it's a lot of fun.
Sydney: so all right so if you've never been to the colvin before here's the nitty gritty. the here's how to get in here's
how to do it. so it's located on Cleveland and the Hall of Fame. Is that the other road? maybe I don't know I just walk here.
Camryn: Yeahs its on Hall of Fame! yeah Hall of Fame! Hall of Fame!
Brett: walk sign is on to cross Hall of Fame
Sydney: then you'll head up upstairs or up the ramp if you're feeling a little tired. And then you'll have Friday or you can download the OSU Wellness app and log in with your O-Key credentials and then you'll swipe in at the front desk and they'll be like oh you're good to go and then you can go upstairs to the third floor and use our indoor track. You can do the second floor. The entry level floor and we have a bunch of cardio machines as well as a smaller weight room. And also the putting green, as well as our combat room and I'm pretty sure that's all that stuff on the second floor…And then on the bottom floor we have our both of our gyms we have Four gym south and four gym north and two gyms where our badminton is and both the other gyms are for basketball and volleyball and also our weight rooms are on the main on the lower level and our equipment room so if you want a basketball or any weight lifting equipment that you don't have on you that you can get on our on our bottom floor and yeah our benches are on the bottom floor yeah that's the that's where everything is don't be don't be scared no one’s going to bite they're literally not allowed to violence is not
encouraged at the gym… and no one's really judging you because everyone is focusing on themselves and how to improve themselves and that's kind of the main the point of coming to the Colvin is to focus yourself on getting better and improving your lifestyle… so umm so you know you're in the weight room and after you get that weight room pump…. you can make sure we have a bunch of rags and you can grab that for about and clean your equipment after you're done so it'll be all fresh for the next person because that's kind of the respect we got here at the Colvin so just make sure to do that one keep it clean keep it fresh keep it from smelling gross this place can get smelly.
Camryn: welcome to the outro this is Camryn Warren
Brett: this is Brett Bozarth
Sydney: and Sidney Jones and we're out! Make sure to get yoked at the Colvin consider this your sign!
