Spencer: It’s officially dead week, we hope everyone’s surviving as we approach the end of the semester!
Brody: In this podcast, we will discuss updates and events happening on campus for this month! First things first, academic news: Finals week is the 9th through the 13th, so make sure you are studying for your finals as we come to the end of the semester. Be sure to take a look to see what your final grades are on the 18th. You should be able to view your final grades in the self-service portal. Us students get another break from school with Winter break being from the 14th [December] to January 13.
Spencer: Let’s check out the arts scene at OSU this month. The OSU Symphony Orchestra is performing world famous composer Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony on December 2nd at 7:30. He [Tchaikovsky] is one of the most prestigious composers of the 19th century and he wrote some of the most beautiful instrumental music ever written. Be sure to get your tickets for this phenomenal performance on the McKnight Center website!

Also, be sure to come to the Holiday Gala over at the First Baptist Church here in Stillwater, where you’ll get to listen to a few choirs and the string ensemble perform various movements from Handel’s Messiah, including the famous Hallelujah chorus. The concert will be held at First Baptist Church on Sunday, December 8th at 7:00.
There are also quite a few recitals and performances happening in the Greenwood School of Music this month; be sure to check the McKnight Center website for all the info!
Brody: Lastly, our sports teams. The Cowgirl Soccer season comes to an end at the beginning of the month as they wrap up a tournament. They have an additional tournament from the 6th to the 9th. [01:37]
Cowboy Basketball has 6 games this month including the Bedlam game at OU on the 14th. Cowgirl Basketball has 4 games this month, and Cowboy Wrestling has one invitational, as well as two duels including the Bedlam duel on the 13th. Goodluck to all of our sports teams! [01:53]
As this semester comes to an end, so does Spencer and I’s contribution to the “This Month at OSU” podcast.
Spencer: We both loved working on and producing episodes for each month. We hope you have a merry Christmas and a fantastic spring semester. Thanks for tuning in…
